Introducing

The Huskies

Academy

A new girls basketball league in Wellesley focused on player growth and development, starting 3/16

Built on 20+ years of basketball excellence, as part of the Mass Huskies Family

Player growth, on your terms

Over the last two decades, we’ve built one of the nation’s top girls AAU programs, helping elite players advance to successful college careers. But I’ve also heard from many parents that traditional AAU isn’t the right fit. The schedules are too unpredictable, the travel is too extensive, and the commitment is too intense for their player.

To meet that need, we’re excited to pilot The Huskies Academy. Inspired by the European development model, The Huskies Academy is a girls house league that emphasizes fundamentals, basketball IQ, and long-term growth, over exposure. It’s the same top-tier coaching that defines Huskies, but built for multi-sport athletes and players who are newer to the game.

Our mission is simple: provide excellent coaching in a supportive, trusted environment—no matter where they are in their basketball journey.

We hope you’ll join us as we create new opportunities for more girls to experience the joy of basketball, together.
